CloudCro

CloudCro was founded by two sisters who have a passion for arts and crafts. They started selling crochet art to share their handmade creations with others, and as a means to fund their craftwork. CloudCro lets customers customise outfits for their own crocheted plushies.

flowersnthreads

flowersnthreads was started by undergraduate Shanice who learnt the art of embroidery by watching YouTube videos during the Covid-19 period. All products are unique as they are handmade. flowersnthreads will offer bundle deals for the PD24. Its past SMU collaborations include PD23, fundraisers for Project Luminaire 10 and Bizcomm Bazaar.

Inks and Giggles

Inks and Giggles offers temporary Jagua tattoos for people who want tattoos but are afraid of pain and/or the commitment that comes with permanent tattoos, or just want to see if tattoos are suitable for them. All tattoos are hand-drawn using Jagua gel and lasts up to two weeks. Tattoos are offered at an affordable rate as the creator understands the cash constraints of a student, being one herself.

Krochebee

Krochebee began during the COVID-19 Circuit Breaker period, when its creator started selling crochet gifts to make her friends smile. Each piece is meticulously handmade, and buyers at PD24 can look forward to an exclusive SMU Patron’s Day lion as well as unique bundles that offer discounts – like a tiny bee/giant bee set or crochet flowers stalks/coasters set. Aside from crochet items, Krochebee also sells clay earrings, diversifying gifting options for loved ones.

LaCuixart

The owner of LaCuixart loves creating art and capturing happy memories. She first started drawing portraits in 2019 and has since worked with partners such as Bizcom Bazaar and Bondue. Each unique portrait is customizable and hand-drawn with love. Customers can share LaCuixart’s post on Instagram, refer a friend or pre-order a bundle deal of two portraits to receive free add-on features.

omeletteok

Sewing scrunchies was a craft undergraduate Kelly Goh discovered during the Covid19 period. And this love for sewing scrunchies marked the birth of her business venture –omeletteok! Kelly says that it is with great pleasure that omeletteok participates as a maker to celebrate SMU’s birthday at PD24, with special bundle deals created just for the occasion.

Slothie Nails

Slothie Nails was started by two sisters who offer customers a convenient and affordable solution to update their nails for different occasions – via easily adhered nail stickers. They’ve recently added customised, hand-painted press-on nails to their offerings, which allow better fit compared to off-the-shelf buys. Special deals are available at PD24, and part of proceeds will help support their niece suffering from a brain condition that affects premature infants.

The JF Store

Mai, the owner of The JF Store, or The Jackfruit Store, began crocheting to cope with chronic back pain. She discovered the joy of the craft and her passion turned into a business idea. Mai eventually launched The Jackfruit Store to improve her skills and share her love for crochet with others. All items are hclourandmade, unique and customisable, and visitors at PD24 will enjoy a 10% discount on items.

A Little Less Rue

A Little Less Rue was started in 2020 by undergraduate Ruth Tan, who initially experimented with resin as an art form, but evolved it into an exercise in self-expression. A Little Less Rue’s pieces celebrate beauty in detail and simplicity, with unique accents adorning each resin product - which are100% handmade with lots of care and love!

Hana Field

Sixth year returning PD maker Hana Field is a handmade resin accessories brand managed by SMU alumna Shanice Goh. Hana Field started as a hobby stemmed from Shanice’s love for crafting and customising accessories. She has operated her business since undergraduate days. From designing accessories, digital marketing to order fulfilment, Shanice is a self-taught entrepreneur. PD24 customers who purchase $24 or more of Hana Field products get a 10% discount.

krystalove

The owner of krystalove, postgraduate student Lee Peck Khee, stumbled upon her love for crystals during the Covid period and thought of bringing in unique one-of-a-kind crystals for fellow Singaporean collectors. krystalove offers a range of statement pieces for living room displays to mid-size pieces as well as everyday wear such as bracelets. Customers can look forward to enjoying upsized discount bundles and customising bracelets on the spot.

ment4iko

Ment4iko began when its created Adda Ong designed jewellery which her friends liked and wanted to buy. Adda saw this as a business opportunity and since 2021 her brand Ment4iko has been selling one-of-a-kind, original-designed jewellery at many thrift stores as well as pop-ups at Haji Lane. This PD24, purchase a bracelet and necklace and get a 10% discount.

Monserene

Monserene was established in 2019 by Nicole and Li Yin, who turned their passion for jewellery and accessory-making into business. All accessories are hand-assembled and designed by the duo, and made with love and intention to last with a range of designs for every occasion. Buyers at PD24 will enjoy 10% discount with minimum $20 spend.

thebeadthief

Liesel Yu, owner of thebeadthief, began making beaded bracelets and keychains for family and friends as a hobby but it became a creative outlet and eventual business idea. Liesel individually hand-makes and designs all items herself – including her specialty character and animal keychains which she proudly proclaims as “one-of-a-kind”!

Afflaunt

Afflaunt sells unique scented handcrafted candles, diffusers, and scented products and was born with the mission to share love through artful creations. Launched on Mother's Day 2023, Afflaunt symbolises the profound bond between its mother and son co-founders. Every item is unique, meaningful and meticulously handcrafted. Calypsoul.Life

Calypsoul.Life began as a passion project when its creators experimented with essential oils and gifted family and friends. Encouraged by the response, they decided to start a business venture to allow others to also enjoy and have access to essential oil products at affordable prices. The brand’s products are all hand-blended in small batches, using 100% natural ingredients and therapeutic grade essential oils. Exclusive discounts will be offered at PD24.

Gym Squad Active is a locally designed activewear brand launched in November 2019. The line aims to keep its apparel comfortable, trendy and performance driven. Designs are catered for everyone – from first time exercise practitioners to fitness enthusiasts and even seasoned athletes. Its apparel remains reasonably priced, encouraging everyone to grow together as a squad. 15% special discount for PD24!

Huhu Sweatshop

Huhu Sweatshop was founded by a pair who met during orientation as freshman and facilitator and wanted to put their artistic flair into merchandise creation. They sell enamel pins, acrylic stands, keychains and art prints inspired by fanart from popular anime series and games, as well as original designs and characters – all individually drawn using digital art software. Exclusive merchandise, bundles and discounts will be made available at PD24.

ireminisce.co

ireminisce.co was started with the purpose of creating accessories that are more than just objects but to have sentimental value attached to them. The company hopes that their accessories can also create joyful memories with loved ones. Exclusive, limited-edition items are available only at PD24 – handcrafted with love especially for this event!

lil2leaves

lil2leaves was set up during the Covid-19 period as a social enterprise. Its owners have received support as underprivileged students and are looking to pay it forward. Products include handmade crafts like vinyl stickers, keychains, pins and customisable name pouches and keychains. Buyers with a minimum-spend will also be entitled to play a sure-win claw machine. lil2leaves will use a portion of sales proceeds to support underprivileged students.

Musubi Bocchi

Musubi Bocchi was started by three students who wanted to let sneaker lovers restyle their sneakers sustainably by showcasing their individuality and personalities through creative shoelaces. All unique designs are made in-house and manufactured in small, exclusive batches. For PD24, discounts will be offered for every additional pair of shoelaces purchased.

Musubi Bocchi has drawn the attention of external retailers and was featured on Chinese singer-actor Ma Tian Yu's social media.

Pebble Studio

Pebble Studio sells stickers perfect for journaling, as well as prints to brighten one’s day. The brand was started by undergraduate Jasmine Tan, who wants to share a part of her childhood story through a friendly neighbourhood bird, Pebble, and his little adventures. Jasmine enjoys illustrating cute things and aspires to evoke nostalgia through her sticker designs.

To My Dearest Floral

To My Dearest Floral, founded by two sisters with a love for flowers, strives to bring love and warmth through bespoke bouquets – perfect as gifts to celebrate life's little joys. The brand aims to provide affordable flowers to students and to a wider market. Its unique floral creations include efforts in sustainability such as repurposing dried flowers from gifted bouquets, giving these dried blooms new life in fresh bouquets.

Vvvvintee

Vvvvintee was founded by three friends who decided to venture into selling curated clothing – thrifted from overseas markets – driven by their shared passion for sustainability and sourcing affordable yet fashionable vintage clothing. Vvvvintee aims to "recycle" one-of-a-kind, overseas-sourced garments to the local market that finds value in them. Vvvvintee will offer special bulk purchase discounts at PD24 for customers who buy more than three items.

bakedbylea

bakedbylea is a home-based bakery by undergraduate Lea Yeo. This passion project was born from her love for food and its ability to spread joy. Having baked for friends and family, Lea was further inspired after working at Puffs and Peaks Bakery and took a leap of faith to start her own baking business. bakedbylea features a variety of cookies, cakes and brownies specially curated for PD24.

Baker's Luv

Baker's Luv – PD24’s only halal bake stall – began operations in 2012 by SMU staff Noorlizan Wahyuni and her sister Fadilah, who has a Diploma in Patisserie by City & Guilds. Baker's Luv was awarded Best Bakery in The Halal Awards 2020 and is a returning Makers’ Market participant since PD21. Baker's Luv also takes in requests for customised cakes and varieties of cookies.

Lil's Cakes

Lil’s Cakes is named after its owner Li Li who has been passionate about baking ever since she was nine years old. Inspired by her grandmother's love for soft and pillowy cakes, Lil's Cakes specialises in baking tall, round chiffon cakes. Flavours are kept delightfully local but yet with a modern twist.

Snooteh

Snooteh is a beverage company that specialises in kombucha and cold brew coffee. It was started by four former secondary school friends – one an SMU alumnus – who share a passion of brewing and serving beverages. All products are carefully sourced and delicately made in-house without preservatives and additives. Special kombucha and coffee bundle deals and discounts for the SMU community are available at PD24.

Founded in 2020, Thekneadhouse.sg was born from a passion for baking and a desire to create delicious treats.
